FRISBEE DESIGN
This is a frisbee design for the university's 105th anniversary, appointed by the university's frisbee club. The simplified image of the symbolic school gate is combined with the number 105. More than 1000 disks were sold.
POSTER DESIGN
This is a poster designed the celebration of Lunar New Year, appointed by Tsinghua University Alumni Wind Orchestra (TAWO). The main icon is a French horn combined with the nose and tail of a pig (for the year of the pig). The nostrils are two copper coins. The color of red and yellow are iconic for Chinese New Years. The Chinese words means New Year, New Music Movements; and the English says New Pig (Year), New (Music) Piece.
LOGO DESIGN
This is a logo I designed for the Teacher's BO YA Extracurriculum School of Beihang University (BUAA). "BO YA(博雅)" in Chinese means Liberal Arts Education, and this school opens art and music classes for university teachers and stuffs.
It's designed with the Chinese character "YA(雅)" in Seal Style of Qin Dynasty, with a paint brush and a music note integrated inside, on a red background shaped as a Chinese traditional stamp.
SPACE COMPOSITION
This is a space composition design from my first studio class in university -- Melody Cube. The requirement was to create a space composition within 24cmx24cm from the ideas of an architecture example.
The two ideas were extracted from the Tama Art University Library design: ARCH and INTERWEAVE.
The whole model is made without any glue (except for sticking onto the baseboard), using only folding and interweaving, but the structure is strong: the friction between the cardboard holds it together.
